Meet Our Team
Lynx is a private equity firm that specializes in buying small to medium sized businesses from owners looking to retire. Since 2007, our team has built experience by successfully identifying, acquiring, and managing dozens of companies throughout ownership transition and beyond.

Lynx isn’t your typical Private Equity firm...

Unlike other firms, we have a buy and hold strategy focusing on owning the business for the long term. We work hard to find exceptional businesses that fit our business model from both a financial and managerial perspective and when we do, we welcome them into the Lynx family. We prioritize continuity and preservation of the owner’s legacy, and we build upon existing value, brands, and relationships to foster sustainable growth and long-term success.
With our strategic buy and hold approach, Lynx is one of the largest private equity firms in North America focused exclusively on small to medium sized businesses. We pride ourselves on building enduring partnerships rooted in integrity, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that our investments yield sustainable returns while honoring the legacy and future potential of each business we acquire.

Our Values

At Lynx, our values form the bedrock of our approach to investing and business management. We believe in fostering enduring relationships and sustainable growth, guided by principles that prioritize both the people and the prosperity of the businesses we buy. Unlike other PE firms, we take a long-term, buy-and-hold approach. When we welcome a business into the Lynx family, it's not just an investment—it's a partnership built on trust and mutual respect. We honour the legacy of each company and build upon their foundations, leveraging our expertise to unlock new opportunities, foster growth, and ensure a prosperous future. At Lynx, we're partners on a journey to continue to enduring success, together.

Integrity

At Lynx, integrity is the cornerstone of our operations. We prioritize honesty, fairness, and the development of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. Committed to long-term investments and partnerships, our goal is to foster growth that benefits both business owners and employees alike.

Humility

At Lynx, we humbly recognize that our success is a collective effort. We respect and value the expertise and insights of those intimately involved in the business, acknowledging that sellers possess a valuable wealth of knowledge that enriches our understanding and approach.

Resiliency

We exemplify perseverance and determination in overcoming challenges, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity. Our emphasis on resourcefulness and creativity allows us to quickly adapt to changing economic landscapes, such as those encountered during the 2008 financial crisis and the 2020 pandemic.
